Hello, there! Welcome to another rebellious Top 10 Tuesday, haha! This meme is hosted by The Broke and The Bookish and my theme today is Most Intimidating Books and I made a point to choose only titles that are on my TBR. It’s my way to make life interesting, haha!
- The Passage
Seriously, this is huge.
- Game of Thrones series
Big and tough.
- The Narnia Chronicles
I have the complete edition, it is heavy.
- Outlander series
Honestly, you can kill someone just by throwing one of those on the person.
- The Book of Love, by Kathleen McGowan
I read the first one when I was a teenie, so it took me AGES to finish it. Now I feel intimidated by the second volume, that is even bigger, haha!
- A Discovery of Witches
So. Freaking. Big. Can you tell that I have a problem with physically big books? Hahaha
- Grey
It is bigger than I expected and I feel lazy just by looking at it. Still want to read it, but oh God.
- The Supernatural series companion guide
This baby goes until Season 10 and it is beautiful, heavy and bulky. I can’t wait to read it, I can’t think of reading it. I’m a mess.
- The Lord of the Rings series
I also have the complete edition for this one and omg, how I regret it as a reader. As a collector, I find it beautiful and precious. I’ve read the first one last year and have been slacking around to keep going because THIS BOOK IS HUGE! Seriously, I’m the worst.
- The Longest Ride
Yes, you have read correctly. I don’t know what to expect from a Nicholas Sparks book, as I have never read any. Let’s see how this goes…
Anyway, thank you for reading! Do you find any of these titles intimidating as well? 😀
Oooh I really want to read The Passage! I have it on my Kindle wishlist, I actually had no idea it was that long but I just looked and it’s over 1000 pages WHAAAT?! Let me know when you start reading that one, I’m really interested to see what it’s like. Also I downloaded Grey ages ago but I never read it – I wasn’t a big fan of 50 Shades because the writing was a bit cringey but I was quite intrigued to see what the book would be like from Christian’s perspective. I may give this one a go this year!

EXACTLY! The Passage is huge!!! 😱 Omg. OMG! My reasons to have bought Grey are THE SAME!!!!! 😱 I hated 50 shades (I had to read for a college paper and it was awful), but got so curious to know Grey’s perspective! But the book ia huge 😂 And I just realized that I forgot to insert some of the post pictures, yay! *sarcasm* I hate when I do that 😔

Haha omg, you had to read 50 shades for college?! Did you have to write a paper about it?? I’m glad you understand where I’m coming from on this one! The constant references to Ana’s ‘inner goddess’ were just too much for me to cope with haha! Also I cannot cope with her calling his penis a ‘Christian Grey flavoured popsicle’ – blehhh! Just WHY?! and NO!! xx

I almost DIED of embarassment when she did that. Seriously, get it together, girl! Hahahaha! And yes, I did, on my very first year. My class was supposed to put a magazine together and I got the Literature section along with another girl and the class decided that we had to talk about the rising “porn for mommys” genre –” So I had to read, review and analyse it! It was pure torture… Hahahaha! Love you ❤ xoxo, Gossip Girl 😉

Hahaha omg same! SO much cringe! That does indeed sound like torture, although it does actually sound like quite an interesting topic for an article. Sending lots of love your way too m’dear! Loving the Gossip Girl reference haha! Will reply to your messages asap XOXO

It was interesting to write the article, but to read and review the book? Nope lol And I still had to be “fair” and not just whinny as I wanted to hahaha 😂 I love to do references, I can’t seem to live without them 😇 hahahaha! I juat saw your replies and will begin mine in a moment 💜 (I just woke up hahaha) XOXO

I agree! I’m the worst for being lazy with physically big books, ugh! 😦 I think I’ll purchase ebook copies of those, so the problem is over (as I don’t see the real size of the book, hahaha!)

I have ebooks for game of thrones. The rest I own actual copies of.

Wonderful plan! The print copies of GOT are too pretty to be left off book collections, haha!
