Book Shop Discovery: Castlekeys

Hello, there! Welcome to another of my serendipity filled posts, haha! There was I surfing Etsy one boring day at lunch and stumbled across Castlekeys, a really cool store from Texas, USA, ran by this girl called Tanya 🙂

“Welcome to Castle Keys! We carry many different styles of key charms, key pendants, and fairy tale themed items. We hope you find something enchanting!”

I only found her store at Etsy, so I don’t know if she is also on Instagram 😦 But she ships worldwide, has awesome references – you see, I haven’t personally bought from her, so I can attest to anything, unfortunately – and a very original set of products. It may come off as a shock, but Castlekeys’ specialty is keys, haha! There are copper, silver, gold, bronze and black gunmetal keys. And that’s not all! She also has rings, necklaces, pendants, book charms, little bottles… And they are all wonderful with really good prices 😀

I’m sorry I’m unable to give you exact dollar pricings, as my shitty Etsy profile lists prices automatically in my own currency – don’t get me wrong, it’s better for me, but it makes things harder on moments like this, haha! And of course I had to select my favorite products of said store 😉

I’m sure I’ll be broke in the moment I have a credit card of my own again, haha!

Thanks so much for reading and I hope you guys like this new store ❤ If anyone has already bought from it, please share your experience with us!

Book Shop Discovery: RoryTheFoxHandmade

Hello, there! Welcome to my second post in the Book Shop Discovery series 😀 I’ll talk about RoryTheFoxHandmade, a lovely book crafter of bookish jewelry!

So, I found this shop at Instagram as well, through my friend Mel (@bookish.mel). She’s their newest rep and I was so excited for her that I simply needed to see Rory’s products for myself, haha!

So, RoryTheFoxHandmade is an Aussie shop run by Lisa Bell and you can find her at Instagram and Esty (I’ll leave the links in the end of the post). She makes necklaces and earrings with tons of themes, like anime, art, books (obviously), movies, series, games, History, vintage, cartoons, animations, feminism and fairy tales 🙂

As you saw on Mel’s pic, her products are totally swoon worthy! She delivers internationally, has good Etsy references and charges fair prices for her creations. I’m sorry I can’t bring exact dollar prices, as my Etsy is set to show prices in my own currency and I didn’t know how to switch, haha! But I made my math and any necklace of hers costs something like 15 dollars and any pair of earrings costs 10 dollars. Even if there is a small variation of pricing thanks to my lack of math skills (I’m a journalist, so beware of my math ALWAYS), I still think she charges a nice price. Also, Lisa takes requests! You can have your jewelry custom-made for the same price as the regular stuff on her store 😀

And of course I had to pick some favorite products to show off:

That’s it, I hope you guys like this new lovely store that I found ❤ Can’t wait for having my international credit card back and buy all those babies in the slide show, haha!

Book Shop Discovery: Riddles Tea Shoppe

Hello! Welcome to my new section here on the blog! *–* I’ve been stumbling on some awesome book lovers themed shops lately and I thought: why not show them off here? I mean, I’m that kind of person that I usually don’t know where to look when I want to buy bookish merch and many independent small sellers have stores at Etsy, Society 6 and Instagram, so this is also my own personal bookish merch shops’ catalogue, haha!

If you love a certain bookish merch shop, please tell me in the comments, so I can stalk visit them and take notes for future posts! 😀

For now, there isn’t a fixed schedule for this section, as it depends on discoveries, but I’d like them to be up and about at least twice a month 🙂

However, enough gibber jabber! Let’s talk about the very shop that gave me this idea: RiddlesTeaShoppe! 😀

riddlesteashoppe logo.jpg

RiddlesTeaShoppe is a USA store from California and they have tea, botton sets, thrown pillows ( ❤ ), mugs, clocks, phone cases and skins, art prints in canvas, paper and framed, totebags, stationary cards and travel mugs 🙂

I met them randomly at Instagram (@riddlesteashoppe) some weeks ago. They were hosting a Hogwarts House Pride competition and I happened to see that Slytherin was in last place! =O Unacceptable, of course! (If you didn’t know, I’m a Slytherin since I’m 7, haha!) So I hurried along and took my own House Pride picture:

And guess what? The competition had a giveaway included and I ended up being one of the lucky winners 😀

They sent me my own pair of Slytherin socks, Slytherin tea with an infuser, an awesome botton set from their Etsy store, a copy of the Harry Potter coloring book and a pencil box with 24 colors! And their packing was cute and great ❤

I already wore the socks, showed off the bottons on my Instagram and tasted the tea: all great products! I only need to start coloring my Harry Potter book now, haha!

At the moment, their Etsy store is closed, but never fear! They are back on May 12th! Mean while, you can browse and shop on their Society6 store! 😀

I took the liberty of selecting my favorite products of their Society6 store to show off here:

Can you tell I love thrown pillows? Hahaha!

Oh, and did I mention they ship internationally? 😀 They do!
