More than 590 brilliantly detailed photos capture the work of 112 glass artists and show the tremendous diversity, depth, and breadth of how this ancient medium is used in the twenty-first century. New and emerging glass artists are featured together with some well-known experts, and all of them challenge the boundaries of familiar techniques. Many of these artists also teach or continue research into the capabilities of glass. Many have won major awards; still others have been the subject of media attention; and many are mentors and leaders of contemporary glass art. Their towering installations, miniscule insects, glass kimonos, and more will inspire everyone interested in appreciating, working with, or collecting glass.
PROS
This book is goals of rich visuals. The glass art displayed through the pages are breathtaking and the reader is provided with a little insight of who is each artist and their inspirations and techniques. This was a very enlightening book for me, as I didn’t knew much about glass art prior to this read, despite being a home design lover.
CONS
This is the kind of book that loses a bit in ebook format, I’m afraid. Some details can be lost in the digital version, when compared to the physical version. Other than that, I can’t think of anything bad!
COVER ANALYSIS
This cover feels so powerful, which comes off as a surprise for a design so dark. Besides having awesome pictures, it is also the perfect table book for interior design!

Everything about this book is perfection. I’m the type that loves seeing tattoos without owning one, so it was magical to see so many possibilities within these pages. I admit that I finished this book wanting to make a tattoo!

Honestly can’t think of anything that bothered me while reading.

Despite having tried aromatherapy before [and succeeded with it], I had never taken much interest in the subject until finding this book. It’s amazing how we can improve our mind and body with the help of natural elements and scents. I’m amazed to my soul and I can’t wait to go back to the little natural shop here in my neighborhood to try some new scents!
CONS
I fail to see how this book can be categorized as “self-help” by the own publisher. Aromatherapy is a craft, an art and, for some, even a hobby. To call it self-help as in the book category is erroneous in my opinion.
COVER ANALYSIS
This cover is the cutest thing ever. Somehow, they managed to turn such an important subject as Aromatherapy into something fluffy! The pale pink allied with small green points and black writings and details create a very appealing atmosphere!
RECOMMENDED FOR
Readers interested on trying a more natural lifestyle and interested in knowing more about aromatherapy!

Everything about this book is just perfect. As a plus size, I felt empowered to see other girls like me wearing looks that I would never think of using: they showed me that I also could do it and be more daring on my clothes, regardless of my body’s shapes and forms. I’m a closeted fashionista, but after this book, I honestly think I just might step away from the closet and start wearing clothes that I would never have the courage to wear before. It’s truly inspiring!
CONS
I honestly can’t say anything bad of this book, it’s perfection.

This cover is so impactful and beautiful! As a presentation of contents we’ll see inside, this is a lovely opening – where do I get myself a pink suit like this?? *o*
