Hellooooo, world! Welcome to a very late session of my TBR of the week! ❤ I’m starting this book today, so I’m very excited to know where it will take me. Of course I’m talking about Rose Petal Graves, by Olivia Wildenstein! *–*

Ancient secrets cannot remain buried forever.

Founded two centuries ago by a powerful tribe of Gottwa Indians, Rowan was a quiet town, so quiet that I fled after graduation. Staying away was the plan, but Mom died suddenly.

Dad said she suffered a stroke after she dug up one of the ancient graves in our backyard, which happens to be the town cemetery. Creepy, I know. Creepier still, there was no corpse inside the old coffin, only fresh rose petals.

As we made preparations for Mom’s burial, new people began arriving in Rowan, unnervingly handsome and odd people. I begged them to leave, but they stayed, because their enemies—my ancestors—were beginning to awaken.

I’ve met Olivia’s work when she released The Masterminds – I still need to read my copy, OMG! – and I have been following her ever since. When she released Rose Petal Graves, I went crazy and knew I had to read it and decided to put a reading date for myself by accepting Olivia’s invitation to join her ARC team. Now I’m sure I’ll be finishing this in a couple of days, haha!

But what really pulled me to this book was the fact that a cemetery is the center of everything, haha! #honestly

    • I loved this cover too, but the story is slow!! So slow I was reading it when a gay romance may have winked at me in the Kindle library and I may have temporarely dropped the book to read another book? #I’mtheworst
I seriously need to learn how to deal with slow developing plots…
