TBR of the Week: The Key to Rondo, by Emily Rodda (Rondo #1)

JUST LOOK WHAT IS BACK!! THE TBR OF THE WEEK, OMG!!! ❤

Sorry, it was kind of rude to begin the post screaming at you lovelies, but last time I was able to do a TBR of the Week post was on June 19th. SO. LONG. AGO. I needed to celebrate, haha! Hope everyone is having a kick ass weekend!

My chosen book of the day is The Key to Rondo, first book in the Rondo series by awesome Emily Rodda! I just started it last night, to be honest, but it’s too interesting for me to pass the opportunity of talking about it, haha! My cousin Walter was cool enough to lend his copy for me, so thanks, Walter =D Love you, man!

There are three rules to the old painted, music box: Wind the box three times only. Never shut the box when the music is playing. Never move the box before the music stops.

Leo wouldn’t dream of breaking these rules, but does his stubborn cousin Mimi listen? She winds the box four times — and suddenly the paintings on its side come to life and a powerful witch is released. Now its up to Leo and Mimi to stop the witch, if only they can find the key to the music box — and the magical world it controls.

In case you are beyond bothered because the author’s name seems familiar, but you can’t quite place it, never fear. She’s the same author of Deltora Quest and Rowan of Rin series!
