TBR of the Week: Carry On, from Rainbow Rowell

Hello, there! Nice Sunday to you! We have lots of sun on my town and I think I’ll burst into flames – or so says my mom, that truly believes that I became a vampire sometime during college, haha!

Anyway, talking about vampires, it’s TBR of the Week day!

I have to stop taking pictures without wearing my glasses, sorry D:

Goodreads’ blurb:

Simon Snow is the worst chosen one who’s ever been chosen.

That’s what his roommate, Baz, says. And Baz might be evil and a vampire and a complete git, but he’s probably right.

Half the time, Simon can’t even make his wand work, and the other half, he sets something on fire. His mentor’s avoiding him, his girlfriend broke up with him, and there’s a magic-eating monster running around wearing Simon’s face. Baz would be having a field day with all this, if he were here—it’s their last year at the Watford School of Magicks, and Simon’s infuriating nemesis didn’t even bother to show up.

Carry On is a ghost story, a love story, a mystery and a melodrama. It has just as much kissing and talking as you’d expect from a Rainbow Rowell story—but far, far more monsters.

Why I got interested: It’s a gay fanfiction with a vampire boy and written by Rainbow Rowell. Actually, she had me on the gay part, the others just summed it up, haha! Sorry, I wish I could have a deep explanation, but I’m that addicted, oops! But I got even more worked up for this book after reading Fangirl. Or should I say “experienced” Fangirl? In any case, I CAN’T WAIT FOR THIS BOOK! ❤

UPDATE: you can now read my review for this book here!

And that’s it, haha! Thanks for indulging on my fangirl moment! Later today you shall find out more about my closed TBR list for February 😀
