TBR of the Week: Cemetery Tours (Cemetery Tours #1), by Jacqueline E. Smith

Hi, there! Welcome to my Sunday-ly section, TBR of the Week! I’m going to enjoy this to actually talk about the book that I’ll read next 😀 This section usually has no commitment to the order of my TBR list, but this time things just wrapped up, haha! Later today, a review will be up on the blog – I’m not sure if I’ll finish Shielded Past or Ten Count’s first, so, I won’t promise which one, haha!

Anyway, today’s book is called Cemetery Tours, first one in the homonymous series by dear Jacqueline E. Smith! I won this book from her in exchange of an honest review and I’m finally being able to read it! (Will start it today even <3) Thanks again, Jacqueline!!

Goodreads blurb:

Some secrets are best kept laid to rest.

At least, that’s as far as Michael Sinclair is concerned. At twenty-seven, he has spent his entire life pretending that the ghosts he encounters on a daily basis do not exist. Now, if only the dead would let him rest in peace.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem likely, especially after Kate Avery and her ailing brother, Gavin, move in next door. Kate and Gavin are haunted, and not by a dearly departed loved one. This spirit is aggressive, menacing, and harboring a dark resentment toward Gavin. In spite of every instinct advising him to walk away, Michael finds himself seeking to uncover the mysteries of Gavin’s past and falling for the bright and lovely Kate. Yet competing for her affection is Luke Rainer, television’s hottest celebrity ghost hunter and the only (living) person to know Michael’s secret.

But the dead have secrets, too. Some will go to any length to withhold what should have gone with them to the grave, while others will risk everything to make their voices heard, even if that means putting another’s life at stake. Now, for the sake of friends and strangers alike, Michael must choose between preserving his cherished anonymity and lending his aid to those for whom all hope seems lost.

Why I got interested: I saw a friend of mine receive and love this book with all her soul at Instagram and I knew I had to read it too! Then another friend also got to read it and loved it just as much. I’m a very curious person, I like to know what’s a huge success ❤ And I love a good ghost seeing story since The Mediator series from Meg Cabot, so I am in heaven that I’ll be reading this now! 😀 Thanks again, Jacqueline!

UPDATE: you can now read my review for this book here!

That’s it! Thanks for reading! Do you like ghost seeing books??
